Mont Matre - Artists SquarePosted by Mandy Provan (Johannesburg, South Africa) on 27 June 2008 in Art & Design and Portfolio. One of the highlights of our trip to Paris was a visit to Mont Matre - the Arty side of Paris. It's a gorgeous sector at the highest point of Paris. After you have climbed the stairs - and there are LOTS of them - you get to the Sacre Cu Cathedral which has the most awesome view of the whole of Paris. Venturing a little further in we found the artists square. Here you will find artists of varying calibre willing to draw you for a few Euro!! I spotted this beautiful portrait and just happened to get the artist in the shot at the same time. This has to be one of my favourite shots of our entire trip!! And believe me I took hundreds! :) We will be away for the next 3 weeks or so, I hope you enjoy the remainder of the Christmas images I have posted. I look forward to seeing all of your blogs when I return!! MERRY Christmas everyone. May God Bless you all!
I hope that as 2009 draws to a close and we usher in 2010, you and your families will have a wonderful Christmas season. May you be Blessed and may we all remember that Christmas is about more than just presents and good food. That Jesus is the real reason for the season!
