@tyan: Hey Tyan - thanks so much. Ethan is 6. He'll be 7 in March.
Beautiful shot Mandy, looks like Ethan has a passion for BB by the concentration on his face.

@Vanessa: Hey There Bec. Thanks so much...He definitely takes a shine to any sports that involve balls!!
Nice photo, Mandy! Interesting angle and framing!

@Paulo Santos: Thanks paulo
Another great angle!

@ManuelaR Photography: Thanks Manuela!!
Yes, the angle is so effective in this particular photo. I am so reminded of my son when he was around the same age, he played in the outfield, wore his uni well, and... thoroughly enjoyed picking clovers blooming at his feet (once, when he got distracted as nothing came his way).

@Viewfinder: hahaha...Thanks VF. And thanks for the great visual of your son - it's so reminiscent of the first time we tried out baseball for Ethan...he and the little guy next to him were so busy talking about something that the ball sped right past them!!! :)
Cool - but it doesn't look like a baseball field...just guessing - a cricket pitch?
25 Oct 2007 6:52am
@Walt: Nope, it's a baseball field.......it was in the far outfield. The little guys play on a much smaller field so they just place the bases anywhere on the field so they can play more than one game at a time.
Did you have to down on the ground for this? Cause is very professional in its perspective and angle
25 Oct 2007 9:19am
@Amir: Thanks Amir. I didn't lie down on my stomach but I did crouch down really low.
awwww , he looks smaller than the base ....lol... nice capture :o)

Great shot! My son spent most of his time in the outfield digging in the dirt at this age--lol. This little guy is _really_ focused! Wonderful!

Oh, he looks ready! Nice perspective Mandy:)
25 Oct 2007 10:58pm
I've never had the confidence to try this kind of skewed perspective shot, myself. It's worked out well here.
