CONGRATULATIONS to the Springboks for WINNING the Rugby World Cup Final on Saturday night.
Our national Rugby team made us all so proud by beating England in a brilliant final match on Saturday Night in Paris. The boys in Green and Gold brought home the Webb Ellis Cup for the Second Time, a feat only matched by Australia.
So this is my tribute to our wonderful rugby team - we are all so PROUD of you! Well done guys you DESERVED it. You played your hearts out and it paid off.
Rugby is one of our national sports and when there's national rugby on the streets are pretty deserted. Last night was no different with South Africans around the globe glued to their TV sets watching the Boks take on the Lions. And they didn't disappoint. It's been 12 years since we were last champions and have happily taken back the cup from England - who were the 2003 RWC champs.
So I now join the ranks of all the very PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN supporters around the world who are basking in the glory of our Team's fantastic win!!!
Way to go BOKKE!!!
