Busy BuilderPosted by Mandy Provan (Johannesburg, South Africa) on 16 October 2007 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. I was trying my hand at capturing a few of the birds in our yard on Friday and I came across this Weaver bird in the next door neighbours yard....He was busily building his nest for his mates approval. Male weaver birds build the nests and then the females inspect them and decide whether or not they are good enough......if she decides that the nest is of a poor standard she rips it to shreds and the poor guy has to start all over again. No post porcessing done on this one, just cropped to get rid of all the excess foliage of the thorn tree. " Everything will work out in the end. If it's not working out, it's not the end." - Max Lucado ~ Fearless. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog!! It is greatly appreciated.
