Motherly Love

Nothing quite like the love of a mom for her baby.

This is Hazel and her baby girl, Jade. This picture was taken the beginning of last year! I haven't had the time to take some really nice pics this week, so I am digging in my archives at the moment. I hope to have a whole load of new ones soon.

I know how you feel about not being able to shoot much... I go through spurts myself. Unfortunately my archives are film and I am without a scanner right now...

Archives or not...Mandy, this is an absolutely stunning shot. I love the BW and then contrast between the blacks and whites...They're rich. I also really like that the shot almost seems overexposed because of the amount of white on the child in the shot...This is my kinda photo;) Really nice work Mandy, Bravo.

I think I will have to start digging in the archive too...I'm slackin'!

This is, indeed, very well captured, Mandy. A lovely portrait of mother and baby, then. (I would personally try to tone down the brightest highlights a little, though.)
