Ice BluePosted by Mandy Provan (Johannesburg, South Africa) on 13 September 2007 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. Inspired by Rob and His 2 dogs, I decided to take a few shots of my sister's Siberian Husky pup - Storm. She's about 4 months old now and derived her name from the havoc she is causing in their home!!! She has the most beautiful eyes. One Brown and one......Ice Blue. Have a blessed thursday! @Sriram: Thank you very much Sriram! :) Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaShe is sooo beautiful, love the angle you chose, really highlights her spectacular eyes! 13 Sep 2007 9:57am @Lorraine: Thanks Lorraine!!! It wasn't easy...she made me work for this one! In the end my sister had to hold on to her to get her this still!!! hahaha. Next time I'll have to find an OLD docile dog!!!hahaha :) Viewfinder from Bradenton, United StatesWhat a perfect name and what a beautiful young dog she is. From the looks of her nose, Storm must be a "digger" in the yard, yes? Way back in high school, I had a friend who had one greenish-brown eye and one blue. Storm is much prettier than he was. Heh. Blessings on your day. =o) 13 Sep 2007 11:01am @Viewfinder: Yes she is definitely a digger.....my sister has had to lock her away from her new spring garden bed as she thinks it's rather fun to dig up all the new seedlings!!! hahaha. MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomOooo! what a beautiful dog, and those eyes!!!!! 13 Sep 2007 11:02am @MaryB: Thanks Maryb!! That's very kind of you. So wonderful of you to stop by! I'm always thrilled to know that you've visited! Rob from Velveetaville, United StatesOh Mandy, great photo (I'm old school so I can still use "photo")! You have captured the spirit in this pup, you can just feel the energy. Have you heard her talk or sing yet? The Huskies are notorious talkers. Mille's "Huskie" genes take over when she wants me to do something and talks my ear off till she gets her way. Thanks for saying I was thin inspiration for this, I appreciate it, it was not necessary, but I truly appreciate it. More please... 13 Sep 2007 11:28am @Rob: It's a pleasure Rob....you were the inspiration...your pics of Max inspired me to find a nice friendly canine face and photograph it!!! I should've found a more docile subject though...this one was far too bouncy! hahahaa She's a real yelper....cries for the smallest thing, I think she just loves the attention she gets when she cries like a baby!! hahaha. Thanks for your kind words, it's always lovely to see you've stopped by. Stop by again tomorrow.... I have another one of the little critter!! :) R from Nowhere and Everywhere, United StatesNice shot !!! I am always amazed by Huskies and there different colored eyes .... I met a man once with two different colored eyes ..... I guess I can figure out who his father was !! LOL..... Have a great day !!! :) 13 Sep 2007 11:33am @R: I know.... aren't they amazing?? I think this is the first one I'd actually seen with 2 different coloured eyes up close!!! Thanks for stopping by!!:) Rob from Velveetaville, United StatesMandy, for some reason I messed up my site address so when you click that link it says I don't exist... so here is the right info: 13 Sep 2007 11:55am @Rob: Hey Rob, That's strange cos when I click the link it goes to your site. I'll check it though incase anyone else is having the same prob!! Thanks for the heads up! Lala from Long Sault, CanadaMandy! This is gorgeous! The pup is beautiful ( major dog lovers over here ) and the way you have captured him in the framing of the shot is terrific. I also dated a boy with two different coloured eyes...he was a little havoc - like as well... 13 Sep 2007 11:56am @Lala: Thank You Lala!!! It must've been the eye's......seems to run in the genes! :) Babul Bhatt from Bombay, Indiathats pretty...never knew such things exist! Chisholm from Thunder Bay - Land of the Sleeping Giant, CanadaBeautiful animal I always think the Bi-eyed colored Huskys are the more beautiful. A friend of mine runs a team of white Siberians every year in various dogsled races during the winter. 13 Sep 2007 1:37pm @Morris J. Chisholm: Hey Morris.
