This image just melted my heart. Dad and baby both look smitten.
P.S. Thanks to everyone for indulging my "mom" side over past 2 days. My boys were both so thrilled at all the wonderful comments they received and I was just filled with pride!!! You are all very kind and I feel truly blessed to belong to such a wonderful community.

A very nice "togetherness" picture, Mandy. You've caught a very special moment in this dad and child's life.
BTW, I appreciate what you said at my site today; the colors of that area are very bright and vibrant, and you were wondering how the D80 does in regular, non-spectacular color situations. So far I think it does fine; tomorrow I am posting something that might begin answer that question. But the truth is I still don't have that much of an archive on D80 shots, and have really been so busy that I've been unable to take it out much this week for more.
Meanwhile, by the look of your pic here today, your D70 is doing just fine.

I can't wait to see your posting for tomorrow......and as for my D70 - it's my baby ~ it was in for repairs recently and I was lost without it!!! hahaha. Would still LOVE the new D80 though...it's the perfect match for it's baby sister the D70!!! :)

@Rob: Have to agree with you there Rob, Am3 is such a fabulous place!! I've never come across a more caring community. We are truly blessed!!!
As for my comments - it's a pleasure..it's an awesome pic. and you'll definitely have to make your way down South one day - we have such a beautiful country.....it has so much to offer visitors......it's very diverse. I love it here. We have WONDERFUL weather and we're generally very welcoming people!!! Well worth the visit! :)

Superb image. The filter you added makes the image look so ideal and dreamy. I rarely get to see sweet father and child images like yours. Thanks for reminding us that there are fathers out there who love and take care of their kids just as much as mothers do.
