Flower Macro (1)

Posted by Mandy Provan (Johannesburg, South Africa) on 13 May 2008 in Plants & Nature.

Thank you so much for the comments on yesterday and Sunday's images - I'm so glad you liked my little experiment! For those of you who asked...the image from Sunday was a shot of 2 ethnic masks that were rusted by the weather, which added that sense of decay to them.

Totally inspired by all the awesome macro images here at AM3 I decided to try my hand at a few flower macro's.

Ironically they all turned out to be red flowers - barring one, which was totally coincidental, clearly all the red flowers bloom in the fall in South Africa.

Comments and constructive criticism are more than welcome. I'd love to know what you think.
